TRIO AIRES
Trio Aires emerges from the synthesis of the lyric voice of international soprano Isabel Cañada Luna, the virtuosity of Japanese pianist Yuko Mizutani, and the unique timbre of trumpet player Bernat Xamena. It distinguishes itself from its contemporaries due to its characteristic repertoire and its innovation upon Classical roots.
Based on well-known works of Spanish Classical music by composers such as Fernando Obradors and Pascual Piqueras Cabanillas, Trio Aires stands out for its ingenious adaptation of the piece Siete Canciones Populares Españolas by Manuel Falla, thus commemorating the 75 anniversary of his passing.
Its vanguard style, along with the fusion of distinct instruments, makes Trio Aires a unique show that takes the repertoire of some of the greatest 19th century Spanish composers of to a new level.

Bernat was born in Porreres (Majorca) in 1976.
He obtained the Superior Title of music in quality of trumpet with the highest qualification in the Superior Conservatory of Music in Valencia with the professors Luís González and Leopoldo Vidal.
At the age of seventeen he got access to the National Youth Orchestra of Spain. Two years later he became part of the Symphonic Orchestra of the Balearic Islands. At the age of nineteen he passed the test in the Iberoamerican Youth Orchestra CAB UNESCO and he was elected as special student in the Eastman School of Music in Rochester (New York) with the professors Barbara Butler and Charles Geyer. After another two years the professors Barbara, Charles and Bernat moved to the Northwestern University of Chicago. Later he continued to improve his studies with Thomas Clamor in the Karajan Academy and with Bo Nilsson in Malmö (Sweden).
He also took part in the Italy International Orchestra and in the Cordoba Symphony Orchestra and collaborated with the Galician Symphony Orchestra, Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, Valencia Symphony Orchestra, National Orchestra of Spain, Orchestra and Choirs from Kirov and with the Tokio Symphony.
He is a founding member of 5deBrass Quintet, and winner of the National competition of Chamber Music from INJUVE.
He has taught courses in the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in Tallin, in the Northwestern University of Chicago, in the Conservatory of Lan-zarote and in different places of Majorca.
Since 2006 he is a trumpet and flugelhorn in the Palma Municipal Band.

Isabel Cañada Luna began to study voice and piano at a very young age.
Her love of Opera would flourish during her formative years, leading her to pursue a degree in voice at the Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid. Isabel completed her studies in 2014, but had begun performing as a soprano soloist long before this — by the age of 24 she had already graced the stages of the Kontzerthaus Berlin and the Berliner Philharmonie, in addition to winning a place in the Ciclo de Jóvenes Cantantes 2015 by AAOM. Isabel even had the honor of singing before His Majesty King Juan Carlos I and Her Majesty Queen Sofía, then reigning monarchs of the kingdom.

As a professional soprano opera singer, Isabel has taken part in many productions, including Humperdinck’s Hänsel & Gretel, Mozart’s Così fan tutte, Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore and Rossini’s Il viaggio a Reims, to name but a few.
She has also performed in theaters all around the world like Teatro Real de Madrid, Dubai Opera, Abu Dhabi National Theater, Tianjin Grand Theater and Yangzhou Concert Hall, among others.
Isabel has been performing in her own production, Echoes of Spain since 2016 as well as singing and appearing at the Dubai Expo 2020 commercial, the film of Barry Purves Plume and TV shows like El Hormiguero.
Isabel will start 2021 debuting in Dubai her new classical music show Sonore Al-Andalus.
Yuko Mizutani was born in Miyagi (Japan).
She graduated at the prestigious music university Tokyo-Geijutsu Daigaku with professors Yasuko Nakayama, Miwa Yuguchi and Klaus Schilde. In this period, in which she also studied with Satoru Sunahara, Michael Schäfer and Jan Panenka, she obtained the Honours price of the Japanese Young Music Competition (Tokyo) and the Kirishima International Competition.
She furthered studies with Tibor Hazai at the Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik Freiburg im Breisgau in Germany. In 1997, she was awarded in the Concorso Internationale di Musica da Camera «Palma d ́Oro» (Italia).
Since 1998, she teaches at the International Summer Music Courses and also colaborates with different musical projects at the Balearic Islands University (Spain). She also teaches at the Conservatory Superior of Music of the Balearic Islands. She has been awarded with the price of best pianist in the Competition Intercentros «Melomano» in Spain the years 2008 and 2010.
She has been invited to work several years as pianist at the International Academy of Music of Palma de Mallorca (Spain) and at Nice International Academie (France) with maestros Gérard Poulet and Patrice Fontanarosa among others. Since its first edition, Yuko Mizutani worked in the Masterclasses with Jean-Marie Londeix in the Mallorca Saxophone Festival. She also collaborates with important international artists.
In her continuous activity as a soloist and chamber music pianist she has played in Germany, France, Switzerland, Peru, Japan, Spain and Italy.
