Originally from Spain, Isabel Cañada Luna began to study voice and piano at a very young age. Her love of Opera would flourish during her formative years, leading her to pursue a degree in voice at the EscuelaSuperior de Canto de Madrid.
Isabel completed her studies in 2014, but had begun performing as a soprano soloist long before this — by the age of 24 she had already graced the stages of the Kontzerthaus Berlin and the Berliner Philharmonie, in addition to winning a place in the Ciclode Jóvenes Cantantes 2015 by AAOM. Isabel even had the honor of singing before His Majesty King Juan Carlos I and Her Majesty Queen Sofía,then reigning monarchs of the kingdom.
The magazine Opera Actual described her as a “a full lyric voice with anexpressive texture and a grand interpretive ability.”
As a professional soprano opera singer, Isabel has taken part in many productions, including Humperdinck’s Hänsel & Gretel, Mozart’s Così fantutte, Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore and Rossini’s Il viaggio a Reims, to namebut a few.
She has also performed in theaters all around the world like Teatro Real de Madrid, Auditorio de Tenerife, Teatre Principal de Palma, Dubai Opera, Canadian University Teathre, Abu Dhabi National Theater, The Arts Center NYU,Tianjin Grand Theater, Changsha Concert Hall, Xuzhou Concert Hall and Yangzhou Concert Hall, among others.
Isabel has been performing in her own production, Echoes of Spainsince 2016 as well as singing and appearing at the Dubai Expo 2020 commercial, the film of Barry Purves Plume and TV shows like
El Hormiguero.
Isabel will start 2021 debuting in Dubai her new classical music show Sonore Al-Andalus.
